This event is only for entrants that fished the Mulwala Classic and your entry is free.  The Da$h for Ca$h is designed to add excitement and fun to your fishing competition experience and involves bonus points and cash prizes.  You will not only be competing against each other but also against the clock.  Luck will play a big part as well.  The Lowrance Da$h for Ca$h is a team event with the combined score of each teams two highest scoring live healthy cod deciding the winners.   The event will start at 8:00am Sunday morning with an official “Start Fishing” signal, upon which boats can leave the starting area to start fishing.  No one is to leave the starting area before the signal.  As bonus points are awarded in relation to fishing time and length of fish, the sooner you return with your catch to the starting area, the more bonus points you will score relative to the length of your fish.  Bonus points will be allocated as follows:

Late fish will still be eligible until 11:05am, but a 5% penalty will apply after 11:00am.  You can return to fishing after entering one or both fish in order to “High-grade”, but only the two highest scoring cod from each team will count.
