Classic Sponsors
The 28th Annual Mulwala Classic will be held on 17-19th April. Registration will commence on the 16th at the Yarrawonga Holiday Park after 4pm in the marquee located on the grass area north of the office. No invite - no entry.
The classic competition will comprise of a 2 day event, followed by a dash for cash competiton on day 3. Entry fees cover tournaments, super draw, accomodation, meals, merchandise and entertainment. Various categories with excellent prizes provided by our wonderful sponsors. Over $18 thousand in prizes will be given away this year.
All completed entry forms and payment should now be submitted.

Please review the rules on the Rules Page.. All competitors will be required to photograph their fish on the supplied measuring board for the Mulwala Classic & Lowrance Dash for Cash.

Roger Miles is now a 3 times Classic champion and without question the most successfull angler of the event. The 26th Annual Mulwala Classic saw plenty of fish caught this year with excellent weather conditions. There were four meter plus weighed in during the weekend with two in the Da$h for Cas$h being caught within minutes of each other. Derek Blow had a memorable catch when he caught a cod which was eaten by a 930mm cod and managed to land both of them.
It was tight for the champion angler with only 1.15kg separating first & second. Graham Sanders had a stella first day catching 9 cod on his Codger lures and registering 28.73kg. He ended up runner up champion with two fish on the second day and was over taken by Roger who landed 16 cod for the tournament. Rogers plan to fish clean water proved successfull and his last legal fish of 570mm with 12 minutes to go got him over the line. Peter Howell finishing 3rd in champion angler with the second biggest cod for the tournament which was right on a meter. Craig Leehane who was no stranger to big fish this season took out biggest cod with a 1040mm caught on his trusty swim bait. Steve Cross with the 3rd biggest cod at 950mm.
Shane Jeffrey had a good tournament with 9 cod and took out largest yellow belly a 520mm. Clark Wilson was the best placed yak registering 8 cod finishing 8th in champion angler. The Teams trophy was a non event with both champion and runner up champion being paired together. Congragulations to Derek Blow, Roger Miles & Graham Sandard, Kalvin Williams who registers 105.88 points 44.49 ahead of second place.
Special mention to Bryce MacDonough who caught a 175mm cod, smaller than some of the lures that are used.

Paul Bressan took home the 80lb Minn Kota Ulterra in the Super Draw. Rob Jones took home the 55" television and David Radman the Diawa Zillion. There were 17 other prizes given away from Tonic Sunglasses, Hobie gear, Bassman Lures, Challenge Rods, Ganstar Lures, Golburn Lures, Kattafurra Lures, and Wilson Gear.
